Two American muscle cars race toward the fading light of a fiery West Texas sunset. A winding highway cuts through the rugged landscape as deep crimson clouds, glowing taillights, and reflections on the asphalt intensify the drama.
This painting originated from a photo I took of a chevelle and a charger while they were parked next to each other at a burger joint. I felt like the angle of the cars really gave it a cinematic racing feel so I threw it into a more appropriate environment.
